Founder & Creative Director

Dr. Greg Matos is a board-certified couple and family psychologist. He specializes in Gottman Method couples therapy.

Greg started his career as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps and is the recipient of the Bronze Star with Combat Valor for his actions defending a U.S. Consulate in 2004. He went on to become a Navy Lieutenant Commander and military psychologist serving on active duty and in the reserves.

Greg worked with his first couple on active duty and then carried that work with him to the Boston Vet Center. As Director, he led an interdisciplinary mental health team to serve veterans and their families.

He became board-certified in 2020 by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and had a boutique couples therapy practice in Boston before moving to California.

Dr. Greg is now committed to improving public access to relationship science and promoting couples therapy for the public good.

He is a past Member-at-large on the Board of the American Academy of Couples and Family Psychology.
